SEONG JOON HONG

Lives and works in Seoul, Korea

Seong Joon Hong works on visualizing the foundations and layers of painting on the canvas. The study layers series is part of his research and consideration of the canvas that he is facing on a daily basis. He received his BFA in Painting at the College of Fine Arts, Hongik University, Seoul in 2012.
In 2015 he finished his MFA in Painting at the Graduate School, Hongik University.
He has participated in numerous solo and group shows in Koreas as well as international art fairs.
