Return policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you can request a return within 14 days after receiving your purchased item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at galerie@galeriekornfeld.com.
If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that returns will have to be sent to the following address within 14 days after your refund request has been accepted: Galerie Kornfeld Kunsthandel GmbH & Co. KG, Fasanenstr. 26, 10719 Berlin, Germany.
You bear the direct costs for returning the products. You can always contact us for any return question at galerie@galeriekornfeld.com.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and solve it.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we have approved your return, please contact us at galerie@galeriekornfeld.com.
Revocation Right for Consumers
According to ยง 13 BGB (German Civil Code) a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to his or her commercial nor to his or her independent professional activity.
Revocation Right
As a consumer, you have the right to revoke this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The revocation period is 14 days with effect from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the last product, provided you had ordered several products within the scope of a standard order and these products are delivered separately.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or e-mail). You can use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, which is, however, not mandatory.
In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of revocation
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment.
We may refuse repayment until we have received the products back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the products, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or transfer the products to us immediately and, in any case, at the latest within 14 days with effect from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is maintained if you send the products before the expiry of the 14-day deadline.
You bear the direct costs for returning the products.
You must pay for any depreciation of the products only if this depreciation can be attributed to any handling with you that was not necessary for checking the condition, features, and functionality of the products.
